INFORMATION FOR NEW AND ENROLLED USERS

Continuing Education Online develops and maintains Online Learning Institutes which are administered by independent organizations, providers of professional continuing education, and corporate training programs. Online Learning Institutes provide a selection of courses which can be completed for CE credit, professional certification or fulfillment of organizational training requirements.  

Courses and programs that are available via the links on the Home Page or Course Directory of this site are open to registration to all professionals who may be interested in these educational offerings.   

Professional staff training courses and programs that are specific to an organization are NOT publicly accessible. Professional staff who are required to complete training for their institution or facility will need to register with the information provided by the employer.    

Becoming an Enrolled Student - Registration & Course-Taking Process

During your first course registration, you will be asked to establish a User Name and Password. On subsequent visits, you will Login as an enrolled student from links available on the CEO Home Page or through your affiliation's education homepage.

Institutions which utilize CEO's OSCAR to provide facility-wide training and education generally restrict their program and course registration to affiliated employees. However, ALL registered users, including those registered through independent sites, may Login to their course work through links available on the CEO Home Page.

When you Login as an enrolled student, you will automatically be taken to your personalized Student Control Panel which will enable you to view a complete record of your academic activity, including your final course grades, CE credit history, professional certification, and other pertinent information; reprint certificates for any completed course; access reference material in the form of links and PDF files; begin or resume any course for which you have registered; and register for new courses.

Course work is generally presented as short segments of material followed by multiple choice questions. Your progress (including exam question responses) is fully maintained, allowing you to complete course work in multiple online sessions. When you Log Off, your course status is saved. When you Login again, a link to your incomplete course will be available under the " Courses Pending" segment of your Control Panel. Click on the link to resume the course precisely where you left off.
